Bennet Park (Includes Shelter Application)
The Bennet Park, located at 675 Elm Street in Bennet, offers a sheltered picnic area with kitchen and modern restrooms that can be reserved for family or community functions. This facility was built and donated to the Village by the Bennet Community Builders Association in 2003. The kitchen area offers hot water, spacious counters with numerous electric outlets, refrigerator and screened food service windows. The kitchen, picnic tables and restrooms are ADA accessible.
To reserve the shelter:
1. Contact the City Office to check date availability. A contract will be emailed to you or you may print off the one below.
2. Complete the contract and return it to the City Office along with the $100 required deposit. Your reserved date and time will not be held until we have the signed contract and deposit.
3. Pick up the key from the City Office on the Thursday prior to a scheduled weekend event. This deposit is fully refunded upon the return of the key and an inspection of the shelter condition.
4. You may also donate the deposit to the Park Shelter funds.
