Clean Up Day 2024 - April 27th
The City of Bennet will be holding it's annual community-wide clean up day on April 27th, 8:00AM to 12:00 noon. There will Electronic Recycling again this year at the City Hall, 685 Monroe Street provided by American Recycling. Items such as TV's, dvd players, stereo equipment, printers and scanners, tread mills can be brought to the office to be picked up and recycled. American Recycling's motto is - if it plugs into an electrical outlet, it qualifies to be recycled!
The refuse site will have three (3) large open top containers for larger items such as furniture, mattresses, carpet, etc.
If you have large items and no way to haul these to the refuse site, please contact the City Office, 402-782-3300 or cityoffice@cityofbennet.com to arrange for pick up by council members or staff.
Volunteers are needed! Contact the city office if you are interested in providing a vehicle for hauling garbage to the refuse site, walking through town and picking up discarded trash.
We all need to work together to keep Bennet a clean community!!
